Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of envolvr: the API at api.envolvr.xyz, the account app at envolvr.xyz/app, the @envolvr/sdk package and envolvr CLI, the envolvr smart contracts, and this website (together, the "Service"). "envolvr", "we" and "us" mean the operators of the Service. "You" means the person or agent operator using it. By connecting a wallet, creating an API key, sending a request or depositing funds, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

envolvr gives AI agents and developers access to AI models that run inside hardware-attested trusted execution environments. Requests are encrypted to an attested enclave, every response comes with a receipt signed by the enclave's key, and receipts are anchored on Robinhood Chain so anyone can verify them. Accounts are funded with USDG.

The Service runs on Robinhood Chain. NVLR is described on the token page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You may not use the Service if you, or any wallet you use with it, are the subject of sanctions administered by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom, or are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

3. Accounts and API keys

Your account is your wallet. You sign in by signing a message with it; there is no email or password. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and of every API key you create, and for all activity under them, including requests your agents make. An API key is shown once when it is created. We store only a hash of it and cannot recover it. Revoke a key in the account app as soon as you suspect it has been exposed.

4. Deposits, fees and refunds

• Pricing. Requests are billed per token at the rates published at GET /pricing and shown in the account app. The cost of each request is stated in its signed receipt.
• Deposit fee. A fee is kept from each USDG deposit. The current rate is published at GET /pricing. We may change pricing and the deposit fee at any time. Changes apply from the moment they are published and do not affect deposits already credited.
• Balance. Your balance is prepaid credit for the Service only. It is not a bank account or deposit, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to another account.
• Refunds. When you close your account, your remaining balance, net of deposit fees already taken, is paid to the wallet you name. Funds that screening flags are held for review and are not paid out until that review ends.
• Blockchain transactions. Deposits and refunds are blockchain transactions. They are public, final once confirmed, and require network fees that you pay. We cannot reverse a transaction sent to the wrong address.

5. NVLR

NVLR is the token of envolvr, an ERC-20 on Robinhood Chain. You do not need NVLR to use the Service. envolvr may use a portion of protocol revenue to buy back NVLR and burn it; whether, when and how much it buys back is at envolvr's discretion and may change or stop at any time. Holding NVLR gives no right to any share of envolvr, its revenue or its profits, and nothing on the Service is an offer to sell securities. Availability of NVLR may be restricted by jurisdiction.

6. AI output

Responses are generated by AI models that envolvr does not train or control. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive or unsuitable for your purpose, and may resemble content that belongs to others. You are responsible for evaluating output before relying on it and for how you or your agents use it. The Service does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and output should not be treated as such.

7. Your content

You keep all rights to your prompts and to the responses you receive ("Your Content"). You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content. Your Content is processed inside attested trusted execution environments so that it can be answered; envolvr's operators cannot read it, and we do not use it to train models. Receipts contain cryptographic commitments to your request and response, not their text. How envolvr handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service, or let an agent use it, to:

• break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so, including sanctions and export control laws;
• create, distribute or solicit sexual content involving minors;
• harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• develop malware, attack systems, or plan violence, terrorism or weapons capable of mass harm;
• evade sanctions screening, including by routing funds through other wallets;
• probe, overload or disrupt the Service, bypass its limits or billing, or access it other than through its published interfaces;
• resell access to the Service in a way that hides the identity of the wallet that pays, or breaches these terms.

The model providers behind each route publish their own usage policies, and you must follow those as well.

9. Third-party services

Inference is served by independent providers running attested enclaves, currently Phala Cloud (through RedPill), NEAR AI Cloud and Chutes. Models are published by third parties under their own licenses. Wallets, blockchains, RPC operators and WalletConnect are run by others. envolvr is not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their terms.

10. Sanctions screening

We screen every wallet against public sanctions data at sign-in, on every deposit, while it uses the Service and before every payout. We may refuse service to a flagged wallet, hold its deposits and refunds, and keep the records required to show what we did and why.

11. Open source and intellectual property

envolvr's gateway, control plane, SDK, verifier and contracts are open source, and each is governed by the license in its repository (Apache-2.0 for github.com/envolvr/envolvr). Except for those licenses, the envolvr name, logo and website content are ours, and these terms grant you no rights to them beyond using the Service.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time from the account app. We may suspend or end your access, revoke API keys, or refuse requests if you breach these terms, if screening flags your wallet, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where we end access without cause, we refund your balance as described in section 4. Sections 4, 6, 7 and 14 to 17 survive termination.

13. Changes

The Service is under active development. We may add, change or remove models, providers, features and contracts at any time. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes are announced on this site before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any model or route will remain available.

Attestation proves which code an enclave runs. Trusted execution environments defend against software attacks and against the host, hypervisor and cloud operator; they do not defend against an attacker with physical access to the hardware. Blockchains, smart contracts and wallets carry their own risks, including bugs, network failures and lost keys. You accept these risks when you use the Service.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, envolvr and its operators, contributors and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service, however caused. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to envolvr in the 12 months before the claim arose and 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your law permits.

16. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify envolvr and its operators against third-party claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your agents' actions, or your breach of these terms or of the law.

17. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and envolvr about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a reorganization or a transfer of the Service. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, including through this website and the account app.
